This chrome extension allows you to select the type of videos that you want to see in your YouTube feed and blocks/hides all other videos that do not belong to the selected categories. Most of the extensions block the entire feed and hide all recommendations which might not be what you want while studying or focusing on learning a topic. By selectively blocking the distracting videos only, this extension allows you to focus on what's important and prevents you from getting distracted into the YouTube rabbithole.

The extension currently works in 3 scenarios within YouTube:

- Home Feed

- Search Results

- Video player and its accompanying recommendation column

I don't like how the extension forces the sidebar to be hidden. There should be a way to turn that off. Feature suggestion: this extension should also work on mobile on the Kiwi Browser

auto turn on feature . some time i turn for searching partially education . if forget to turn it on you tube start doing black magic . i think after watching 2-3 video it should be auto turn on

There is room for improvement. For example, when I'm on the search results page, nothing should be hidden cause I searched for it.

This is very useful, HOWEVER, I have request regarding to the category. Please split the Science & Technology into several parts. I'm a graduated developer and a tech geek myself and honestly part of Science & Technology are rather distracting to me. Those are: 1. Gadget & Software reviews 2. Tech news (non-development application updates like Windows etc.) 3. Tech/Science scandals & rumor So I'd like to specifically unblock everything except anything related to Programming (coding, development, Visual Studio, Unity, other IDEs, etc.), Science, and How-Tos I hope you all can implement this in the later future. Thank you.

I wanted to filter YouTube videos by Category because despite not having those Categories in my YouTube History, and no matter how many times I click the "Not Interested" "I don't like the video" feedback options on the Home page, YouTube still recommends the same topics, and this works like a charm. It'd be really useful if I could still open the guide button on the top left of YouTube while the extension is active, so I could still navigate the site without having to turn it off and on anytime, and if the videos were reorganized, like the "Channel Blocker" extension, instead of blacked out so there wasn't so much dead space, but at least you can't accidentally click on them. 5 Stars though because after spending a lot of time going through the Chrome Extension store this was the only extension I could find that lets you filter videos by Category while letting you select which Categories. And just how useful it is for me. Thank You.
