Not sure what to make of this. I went to bed with Amazon URL Shortener and woke up to “Best URL Shortener”, an extension that I've never heard of. Beats me how this is even allowed. Granted, the old one was already a bit fishy with its shortened non-genuine Amazon link, but the new version takes it a step further with bityl.co. No idea who in their right mind would even click on such a phishing-style link. Rather than pulling this non-transparent bait and switch maneuver, it would have been nice to have a window pop up that informs me about a new extension with even more features. Since the dev seems well-intentioned, I see no reason to leave a 1-star review, but I'll probably switch to a shortener that does what I came here for (shorten Amazon links, nothing else) and simply takes the fluff out, so I end up with a nice, short and genuine amazon.com/DP/XYZ12345.
