definitely the best epub reader just because it can be used with the extension readaloud which has piper voices supported so you can download a realistic sounding ai voice to read for you.

This does as it says. You can read EPUB books, and that's all it claims to do, you don't need to install any programs or nothing. I used this for a long time and it works just as it says. You can bookmark, and unlike installed programs (Calibre, for example) multiple copies are not made. My only gripe is when going in to fullscreen, you need to press F5 to reset it, but that is a minor issue.

This review is More about the laxity on part of google rather then developer of this epubreader extension. Extension works great. BUT when I click on the link to the product website provided by Google store it goes to a site and google browser throws a notice that says --> " www.epubread.com doesn’t support a secure connection. Attackers can see and change information you send or receive from the site. It's safest to visit this site later if you're using a public network. There is less risk from a trusted network, like your home or work Wi-Fi. You might also contact the site owner and suggest they upgrade to HTTPS SO google with your humongous size and power can you please convince the developer of this extension to use HTTPS website? Then please provide that link on your Google store. Also please automatically check all requirements when a developer submits the extension on your store. That means enforce through auto check this requirement for HTTPS link. How hard can that be? In fact also add another requirement for using a digital signature for uploading ALL extension on the google store. This is in context of the man in the middle hack done by hackers to the "Cyberhaven's security-focused extension" It is high time for Google to now follow this hopefully effective technique (digital signature)

I'm quite amazed by the simplicity of the app. I'm also amazed by it's functionality, it seamlessly opens up EPUB files on my pc and allowes me to customize the way how the EPUB looks. I highly recommend this tool.
