Did anyone even ask for YouTube shorts? I feel this was a decision made out of jealousy. Like if a famous sports car manufacturer decided to start pushing tow hitches because they want to compete with a pickup truck manufacturer. Yeah, they're similar in how they function, but each vehicle serves another purpose entirely. Keep shorts out of YouTube, that's not why I'm there.

Very useful, it was annoying for me to have to rewrite youtube.com/shorts/***** into youtube.com/watch/***** Youtube shorts are indeed stupid. The title covering part of the video, the comments and description covering almost the entire video, my dislike extension breaking, and being unable to adjust the video volume.
It fixes a problem that Youtube created by being stupid. Fantastic.
Great extension! And also YET ANOTHER EXTENSION THAT AIMS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS THAT WEREN'T THERE, BUT ARE NOW BECAUSE YOUTUBE'S ABSOLUTELY STUPID DECISION MAKING.
