Бесполезно. Расширения оно не редактирует. А только отображает код страницы, который и так доступен без него.

Downloaded zip file can't be installed by chrome. Not working as expected. Using "Give Me CRX" instead, which works.

it works like it said. But for me the icon only shows when i go to the chrome web store and click on the chrome extension soure viewer

It's awesome to be able to easily inspect other extensions - to see what they do and how they do it. Read up on how the manifest.json file works, learn a little javascript, and double-check that the extensions you use aren't up to any funny-business. I've already found a couple surprises. Thanks for such a handy tool!
