This is a superior tool for what it does - screen recording on my Mac. With it, I've been able to do so much of the short tutorial video creation that can be turned around and placed in the hands of one of our junior team, or even someone more experience needing a little help with one particular task. It doesn't do everything, but for free, it's outstanding. There are also paid subscriptions that offer other analytics features that are probably well-suited for use cases such as sales or marketing.

I really like vidard its great and helps me record very easily, the only complaint that I have is that I can't download videos without having to pay. But other than that, right on!
