Description
When you open a link in a new tab, Chrome opens the new tab in the background and provides no option to switch to it immediately.
With Tab Activate, new tabs open immediately instead of in the background.

Doesn't work. It looks like some people have more success than others. It didn't work for me, didn't change anything, still opens up the links in the same tap. Bad extension,
Works very well as described.
Thank you. I never understood why this option isn't included in Chrome as it is in the other main stream browsers. I find the current approach very distracting.
does what it says. simple and effective.
Somehow it forces the tab to move next to the previous tab even if another addon tries to overwrite this behavior. I.e. when I set it to open new ctrl+click tab to the end, I can't make it to also activate - this results in the tab swapping back to the right-from-previous-tab in a split second after moving to the end of the list. Would appreciate if you fix it.
It works then it stops then you go back it won't work reset it still won't work reinstall works then go back a few hours later and it stops working again.

I wish I had found this sooner!
It works. The chrome default behavior is stupid.
It will be better if it have and option allow people set a hotkey to activate the tab manually
