# INTRODUCTION
Quick Tabs is a tab management browser extension for the Google Chrome web browser based on the "Recent Files" quick selector built into the excellent IntelliJ IDEA by Jetbrains.
Quick Tabs allows you to move quickly between recently used tabs without requiring the use of your mouse, locate and switch to tabs as you need them with minimal keystrokes even when you have large numbers of open tabs.

Could you add a shortcut that makes the menu appear? Thanks.
No shortcut keys to open the list of tabs and have the search box focused on immediately so that I can start typing?
Brilliant! Homage to IntelliJ's search interface is especially welcome. Almost perfect as is, but... ;-) Suggestions: * Startup performance could be improved but isn't a show-stopper relative to the alternative of manually searching through 30+ tabs * Providing some CSS sample suggestions for high-resolution displays would be helpful (e.g. best way to increase number of visible rows in popup window, etc)
I hate this is there anyway to get rid of it?
this should be built into Chrome!
searches on all open sessions..sort by most recently accessed tabs...additional search filtering could be provided in future...very good
Great extension, one of the best everrrrr. would love to have an option to pop it out as a separate window.
Has a significant delay before updating the switching order, making this very unlike any other implementation of MRU switching and the opposite of "quick". This isn't even properly stated anywhere, so figuring it out was confusing.
This extension is amazing. No more guessing tabs from favicons. Amazing productivity boost.
One of the best extensions I've installed. Love the functionality, and love that it's open source.
