There has been ages that I don't work in companies that send nasty emails which need fixing by this extension, and thus I stopped following the Gmail changes. Every now and then, someone sends an email with an issue, which unfortunately I don't have the time or will to fix.
However, I'm still open to Pull Requests in the project's GitHub repo, so feel free to collaborate!

Ever complained about the horizontal scrolling that large images create on Gmail messages? Like those screenshots your client sent you, or a fancy signature that's cool for their widescreen monitors, but not for your windowed view?
This is a small extension that adds a slight rule so inline images will always fit in the message body. No need to keep scrolling back and forth to read any paragraph.

Worked great till recently, when it messed up the "Show Details" button to see the list of recipients of an email. The button now appears as a single pixel (see this question: https://support.google.com/mail/thread/6629703?hl=en). Disabled this extension till this issue can be fixed.

Working for me as of December 2018! Thank you very much to the developer. Absolutely pathetic of Google (as usual) that this isn't a core option of gmail. In the time that I've been using gmail they have two full scale redesigns of the UI that added nothing of value and yet this has never been fixed. Google's priorities are shockingly poor when it comes to improving their "apps".
This extension has stopped working with the recent gmail design update. It was great before! Hopefully the extension can be updated soon...
