Global Speed is THE best chrome extension for medical students. It should be built in. I love telling other students about it because we really need something like this to speed up through the parts we know and slow down and skip back to review certain parts of lectures. The app is incredibly intuitive and I also love the great customization features. Would gladly donate to show appreciation to the devs. GS is a time saver and therefore a life saver.

not working anymore pls fix cant even access the settings page just blank page Edit no reinstalling doesn't fix it. tried removing all saved data from it and reinstall didn't work either even changing the play speed doesn't work either. I don't have those red numbers on the extension icon the play speed doesnt work either so does not work on YouTube either

Well, it's almost perfect. Used to be perfect, but something has changed. For some reason, now if you try to rewind all the way to the beginning of a video, it can rewind past the beginning and loop back to the end. It's annoying because you can't just reliably hold a key to go back to the start.

Wenn Adblocker auf Youtube nicht mehr funktionieren. Dann ist der geschwindigkeitsregler das beste tool um lästige Werbung schnell zu überspringen. Jetzt muss ich auch nicht mehr nach jedem Video einen html Code in die Console einfügen, um die Geschwindigkeit nach 2x zu erhöhen. Es hat sogar speed change pitch. Das finde ich sehr gut. Weiter so!!!

I see what you mean. But what I'm trying to say is that when I change the pitch, the people end up sounding like they inhaled helium or hexafluoride. I want to be able to change the pitch while still keeping the same timbre. ?Is there a way to do that?
