AWESOME!! Great to answer Google Voice calls on my PC.
What a POS this program is. Inconsistent with making and receiving calls. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Will be deleting this. You'd think google would have it together being they control the app, it's execution, and the environment in which it is to function. Pitiful.
I'm using it purely for SMS texting and notifications, and it just barely functions as such. When notifications come in, it is inconsistent about playing the sound and showing the desktop message, then the new message number stays on the icon after you read the message. Sometimes it doesn't display your sent message in the thread after you send it, leaving you to wonder if it actually did anything, and it deletes the addressee's number from the "Number To Text" box after, so you have to back out to the inbox or type the number in again if you want to send another. Last, there should be a setting for the frequency that it checks the server.
This extension is awesome, all said.

So helpful! 4 stars instead of 5 because with Chrome version 34.0.1838.2 dev-m (Windows 8), it's causing Chrome to crash repeatedly.
I have this extension set up to open the page when I click on the icon. However, doing this minimizes chrome on my Mac (not on my older Windows laptop though). The other thing it does is it leaves an empty mouse-over speech box that doesn't disappear unless you exit the browser.
This used to be a solid extension, but has since fallen into disrepair to the point where it's not worth using anymore. It doesn't work properly with the newest versions of Chrome, and ends up minimizing the browser when you click on it, and not disposing of its popups properly (as others have mentioned). Please please please give Google Voice some love!!!
