- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).

- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

I use this extension constantly!
does not work :(
Love it. Makes GV my primary text-based communication, spanning mobile and desktop -- nearly idea.
Needs option for "press enter to send"

Love it, just wish there
Each version gets worse and worse. It is as if google is being passive aggressive in getting people to drop the service. The lack of support for tel: links, the fact that the android extension give wrong numbers in the call history (the previous version of the android google voice extension left the correct numbers) the fact that google+ hangouts essentially disable it, the missed calls. After years of using google voice I am starting to actively
love it
Google has made Google Voice practically useless by pushing Hangouts. In Gmail, if Hangouts is selected instead of Old Chat, then using this Extension to make phone links out of any phone number in any tab in Chrome brings up a useless popup which does not connect to the GVoice phone.
Awesome extension! Outbound calling with your Google Voice # should be explained better: - 1st open Gmail - In Google Voice: Click [Call], Type #, Choose "Google Talk", Click [Connect] - Click [Answer] in Gmail Opening too many other pages reloads extension & drops your call in progress
