- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).

- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

The false alerts seemed to be temporary. It's back to working for me. I like this extension, though I think it would be nice to get some UI and usability improvements. It's been the same forever.

It was working great! 5 Stars! Now suddenly it's not working. Does anyone know why?
The drop down button is great for checking and sending SMS. However, the UI needs work. * If you put focus away thile typing an SMS, the window disappears. When you go back, the text you typed is there, but "TO" field gets cleared. * Once you type a name/number into the TO field, pressing TAB or arrows won't get you to the text field. You actually have to move the mouse and click. * Doesn't support viewing of MMS. If you receive one, the only way to see the picture is via Gmail. I'm sure that's on their list, but G needs to seriously accelerate development. Way too much time goes by between updates.
I would love to see a easier access to input new contact. Everything works well otherwise. I love it. It helps me text so easy. :)
Within the past month we are having problems with the dialing numbers hyperlinked in blue. It is calling the last number we dialed and not the number we are clicking on. Any resolution to this? It is very problematic for our medical practice as we are dialing the wrong numbers for patients now.
Please fix the tab problem. Would be much more useful.
Fantastic extension for Chrome. As another user said, "absolutely indispensable."
I like the extension but there should be an option to call OR text from highlighted numbers. Also seems like the extension has been a bit buggy lately. Overall this extension really brings a lot of value to Google Voice!
This franchise basically saved my life ALOT of times i was homeless for 3 years and had to use wifi alot to get money or food to eat. So thx Gvoice!. But REST IN PEACE to Hangouts. Google stopped sms said on May 22..
