- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).

Info:

- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

Was great...now, with the latest GVoice update, it's become relatively useless. The "new message" indicator is always wrong and it can't be used with group messages!!! Still okay for sending texts to a single person. Please update!

My only suggestion to Google is: Please give us a Setting that keeps Legacy View on; the new view has far fewer perks. Same could be said about Hangouts integration; perks aren't as good. Let it go; they have different places in my life. No means no! Etc. Maybe a special Setting for that is in order too?! A "stop asking me to integrate with Hangouts" Setting! Other than that, keep up the good work!!!

I hope you will update the extension. When you do, please link phone numbers appearing on web pages to texting via SMS not just offering to call the number. Most people text rather than call! The extension could call up Hangouts rather than defunct Google Talk!

This extension doesn't work. I select a phone number. A little Google Voice window pops up. I select Connect with GTalk. Gives error "Please try again." Broken software is the norm now.

LAST UPDATE 2013, this extension is close to broke with all the bugs that it has. Said as this used to be a great extension 4 years ago.

Good little extension for keeping tabs on your Google Voice account. This current version is a little dated, so I'm hoping google will upgrade soon to match their updated (and prettified) google voice web dashboard. fyi, it will automatically add the 'hasGoogleVoiceExt' class to 'body onload', on every webpage you visit.

Simple to use, calls are cheap or free, linked to my contacts so I just type the first letter of a contacts name, and choose a number. Love it.
