I’m way too picky about my Google Calendar colors, and PaintCal is the only reason I’m sane now. Meetings are one color, life stuff is another, chaos has its own shade. Took 10 seconds to set up, works perfectly, and I don’t think I could go back. 10/10 would recommend to other color-obsessed people.
What I love most is how simple it is. I don’t have to log in, go through a setup, or deal with complicated menus. I just click an event, choose my color, and it’s done. The text color automatically switches to something readable too (which is such a small detail, but so important when you’re actually trying to read your calendar quickly).
I just installed PaintCal and honestly, it’s awesome — especially if you use Google Calendar a lot. Before this, I was stuck with the boring default 11 colors, and it was impossible to visually organize all my different types of events. With PaintCal I can pick any custom color I want for each event, and the colors show up instantly in my calendar
So good. Google’s defaults suck but this lets me pick any color I want. Looks great but it only works on computer. Still awesome just get it.
This is exactly what I needed. Custom colors finally! My calendar looks way better now that I can color code all my events. Free too. Awesome
