Fixes the idiocy that is oldest messages first. Absolutely essential if you want to use Gmail productively. I'm not aware of ANY other email that puts the oldest messages first so it's not clear what Gmail was trying to achieve by putting oldest messages first.
Yes, I have had conversion mode off for years because it was just confusing with the order. I had to turn it on for the new Snooze option which I love and I was really hating life again with the default old message first for gmail. This has made Conversation view usable again.
This works perfect. Was about to switch to Outlook but not anymore!!!
LOVE THIS EXTENSION!!!! Hated so much having the latest email at the bottom of the stack!
This extension should be a setting option in gmail and it might let me use gmail in a browser. Replying at the bottom of the email seems like an April Fool's joke. Why Google? WHY?
I really like what this does (amazed that Google doesn't provide natively) but with the Gmail redesign in the "default" density mode icons for attachments are lined up vertically rather than horizontally as Gmail intended.
I was wasting so much time scrolling to the bottom of email strings looking for the most recent response. I felt like I was losing important emails. Why hasn't the gmail team figured out many people want the most recent email on top??? Seems like a no-brainer. This is a WONDERFUL addition. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Makes gmail much more user friendly.

Thanks spaj - this extension makes life so much more sensible! Added the extension then looked at email - just the same. Reloaded the page and voila! Brill.
