Attempts to replace muted segments in Twitch.tv VODs with their unmuted versions, if still available on Twitch's servers.
Also highlights the VOD's seekbar to indicate which segments currently have unmuted versions available.
- Unmuted segments are sometimes accessible for up to 24 hours after the stream has ended, but Twitch can remove them at any time, even within just a couple hours or sooner. This varies VOD to VOD.
- Do not expect muted segments to be unmuted if the VOD is greater than 24 hours old.
- This extension does not determine or control which segments are muted or whether unmuted versions are available. If a segment remains muted, it means that the unmuted audio is not available on Twitch's servers, nothing can be done by this extension to rectify this.
Extension is working as intended as of 11th September 2025

Only unmutes about half of the time, and if the page for whatever reason needs to be reloaded it immediately mutes everything again and doesn't unmute after.

Didn't work on both VODS I tried, idk why

wow it actually works
Works on VODs that are less than 24hrs old. The extension unmutes about 80% of the muted segments, if not more.
For me it did not work, i tried it on a stream that was less than 24 hours old but the unmuted Segments usually become unavailable as soon as the stream ends or a few minutes later, then the server just gives a 403 Forbidden error so there's no way to unmute it aftwerwards.
It works, ignore the people in the other reviews, they can't read. This is for unmuting vods that are really new (less than 24 hours). And I tested it, it changes the color of the segments in unmutes from red (muted) to green (unmuted). There was a small segment in a vod I was watching that could not be unmuted but it unmuted about 10 segments.
It dosen't work at all, VOD's stays muted -.-
