C) I couldn't find a Creative Commons photo of a blobfish to use.

works for the NY Times but not the Wash Post or SJ Mercury News
Works pretty great, not 100% but definitely enough to take the edge off of a Trump presidency. Maybe it'd help if there was a way to tag photos for replacement? Anyway, I'm glad that there are creative commons kittehs for this purpose and not blobfishes, which he already too closely resembles. Great work, dev!
You have to restart chrome and i'm fine with that. but even when i did that it worked very sporadically. i so applaud this idea...can you improve it. we needs it!

sometimes doesn't work on homepage (esp facebook) but it works just fine when you are on the actually news page. Also, remember to click on the "allow popups always" when prompted

I love the idea...but the app needs a lot of work. Doesn't work at all on theguardian.com, sometimes works on nytimes.com, didn't really work on salon.com or slate.com.
It works sometimes, sometimes a lot. I am surprised to see so many kittens on politico.com and the NYTimes, BBC.com. Haven't seen it work on CNN but just tried it out on Foxnews.com and wow, big kitten suddenly painted the whole screen where there had been a big image of his highness. Kittens on Brietbart even! Works well enough to give me a giggle! So THANK YOU!
