This is a two-panel bookmarks manager for your browser. It works similar to the famous Total Commander. You can move items between the panels or view two different directories simultaneously.
Instruction:
Click on the toolbar button once to open the commander in a new browser tab. By default the left panel has focus. Use arrow up and arrow down keys to navigate. Use Enter to move to a directory. To move the other panel simply press The left or right arrow key.
Shortcuts:
[open links]: Press Enter key to open on the same tab. Press Ctrl + Enter or Command + Enter to open in a background tab or use double-click to open on the same tab. Press Ctrl/Command while double-clicking to open in a background tab.
[select multiple bookmarks]: Ctrl/Command with left-click to select more items.

Super Bookmark Desktop - the new tab page + bookmark manager that acts like your computer desktop!…
Nice idea :-) However, on my machine and with my browser, running certain searches spikes memory usage and processor, page becomes unresponsive. Closing the page and reopening (by clicking the extension icon) does not reset it. Suggestion: - sort by clicking on the coloumn headers (asc, desc, no-sort) - search / filter only in selected coloumn - tags - as others said - right-click menu - faster operation ;-)
Would be nice if it includes tags, which is another way of organizing bookmarks.
This is a godsend. It should be part of Chrome by default. The only thing I'm missing is Undo (for Sort, mostly).
This is a great idea and a good implementation, yet needs a few more things: - Undo / Redo. - Rename Title. Also - how to edit the bookmark's title, if Ctrlt+T opens a new tab?
Can this sort all bookmarks? Or only the active folder?
Fantastic app that Chrome has needed for decades, thank a million. Kinda shocked it is still listed as a version 0.4.8. Has features no other has perfected and seems very stable on an older PC running Win 10. Does exactly what I needed it to do after searching for years and being disappointed by many other apps and extensions. Being able to batch copy, move, or delete rapidly with keyboard is a game changer. There is a small learning curve. I suggest carefully reading the directions linked to in the details page of the extension in Chrome (add0n.com/bookmarks-commander). Review the page a few times, and retain the keyboard commands that you find useful to you. The right-click context menu in app is lacking a few common options, like edit...sort...move/cut...details...etc. So, you will need to use some keyboard commands to get some jobs done. Some shortcuts do appear on the small action buttons at the bottom when you hover the mouse over them, which is an extremely appreciated but easy to overlook feature. *QoL Suggestions* -Allow setting a 'global' sort preference in the app/settings, re-sorting a way over full folder can cause hanging. -Allow hide/removal of columns that aren't actively needed. -Allow adjustment of the mid point of the 2 panes as an alternate solution or a button for 1 pane mode. -Allow links to perma be expanded to occupy 2 rows for easier fast review of absurdly long URLs. -Move Up/Enlarge/Further Contrast the Toolbar, it is very inconspicuous in dark mode, but very helpful once noticed. -Make Full Window the default view setting, even tabbed felt crowed. -Expand the right click menu options (see above). -Keep on making incredible apps and extensions. *BUG? REPORT* "Edit a Title : Use Ctrl + T" -This is listed on the 'add0n' website instead of "Ctrl + E" for quick Title Editing. Unclear if it is a typo or was the combo from a previous version, but thought you should know. Maybe an end user shortcut editing option like other apps or moving/enlarging/further contrasting the Action Bar will avoid future confusion for others? -Add a more clear warning to the average user that Chrome may briefly hang if trying to sort/move/copy/edit/delete a massive folder or tons of links at once containing 3 decades of bookmarks. I knew to expect it, but other's may not know an excessively large bookmark file isn't handled well by chrome in general, much less trying to batch edit it.
bull. In what world is the date order 2023, 2016, 2024... And no undo function
It just works. It's simple. It's powerful. And it doesn't ask for ALL THE INFORMATION FROM ALL THE SITES. It also looks clean and simple, but is very functional. It's great. What else could I wish for bookmarks management? Why isn't it inbuilt in chrome?
Супер додаток!!! Ви можете швидко впорядкувати свої закладки. Є сортування. Гарячі клавіші для Mac і Windows. Все інтуїтивно зрозуміло. Велике спасибі! 5 зірок!!! Super app!!! You can quickly organize your bookmarks. There is sorting. Hotkeys for Mac and Windows. Everything is intuitive. Thank you very much! 5 stars!!!
I do like the innovative NC interface, so good intentions, but execution was something else. My goal is to remove hundreds, maybe thousands of dupes. Tried deleting a small group of 50 or so as a test, and it is SO SLOW! They seemed to delete, but then it just got hung and unresponsive. Tried quitting Chrome, but now it won't re-launch. Tried "restart" as well as all the other available options to launch it but still no response. I guess it might still be there somewhere running in the background, but doesn't show on Activity Monitor, so can't kill it (is there a unique process name for it?). I suppose a reboot would clear it out, but that's just not how any software is supposed to work.
