This extension enables the use of IBM Aspera Connect with Chrome. This extension requires the IBM Aspera Connect application, version 3.9.0 or newer.
The purpose of this extension and the corresponding desktop application is to move large files FAST from your computer to an IBM Aspera server.
You need to have an account on an Aspera server to move files.
FASP is the protocol used to move files much faster than is possible over TCP/IP. The application has to be where the network is.
Privacy statement: This extension is activated only by websites that integrate IBM Aspera to transfer files. This extension does not read or store any personal information.

Useless extension forcing to install an app just to download few files.
No funciona correctamente
Stuck in endless loop of installing and getting it connected JUST to download files. This is an absolute racket!
What is WRONG with this impossible to install software???? Stuck in an endless loop of Install this app - install it, either for all users of my user account only, and STILL get asked to install it again, as if nothing ever happened the OTHER FIVE TIMES PREVIOUS!!!!! A PITA, under Tahoe in Safari of Chrome.

Is there actually any benefit to this ASSpera app or is this just enshittification at work? You are producers of slop, purveyors of swill, providers of excreta. May your pillow forever be lumpy, and your cat always prefer your neighbours.
Couldn't download files with chrome
I hate this app. It forces you to install this extension to download a file. Just let me download. YOu are intentionally being difficult and you know it. Awful
Fails so often for some random obscure reason, I have to baby it with 1-at-a-time uploads and retry more often than anyone should be doing using an "automated" upload solution.
