Until recently I would have described this extension as useful but is too easy to bypass to be truly effective, and the new owner's plans to collect our web-usage data as concerning to say the least—but today I ran into a show-stopping issue that resulted in the extension blocking all non-allowlisted URLs, including the new tab page, chrome://settings/ and chrome://extensions/. I'm aware of the nuclear option but would prefer to have to opt-in to being nuked, rather than finding my browser randomly rendered unusable.

This works and you should use it. Especially the nuclear option. Especially the thing where you can block certain websites consistently during certain times. It is better than the competitors because it is a lot harder to un-block things. Pro tip: you can also block your work email and be freeeeee.
