You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

Excellente extension!
I am a methodical reader for detail. But I can skim fast so that makes up for time spent. The thought in my mind reading the app description is helpful alone as it describes me pretty well. One of my faults is that I have a bunch of tabs open all the time. What your program might do is store tabs that haven't been used in a while but which I don't want to close... because my brain forgets what I am doing and I became distracted. Perhaps there could be a way to quickly label a tab A, B, C so that if I get pulled away somehow it will keep the tabs compartmentalized as to criticality vs I don't want to forget it but I don't want it to clog up my tab bar if I go too long without using it. IS THAT BRILLIANT. Glad I thought of it. Maybe you can fulfill this dream idea.
I love this already. I changed my llowed time per day to 60 mins a day, but thats because im a student and I need messenger and facebook for chats. Its really guilt tripping me lol. Iluv et. Keep it up devs!
Just add feautre so that user cannot remove it from chrome when nuclear option is enabled
A big win for my productivity, but would love to see more control - specifically in two ways: 1. Time blocks. Ideally I'd like a 30 minute allowance to browse Reddit in the evenings, but 0 access to Reddit during the workday. 2. Customize websites per time block. Ideally I'd like unlimited access to gmail during the work day, but limited time in the evening. I could see this implemented as basically the same configuration the app has now, setting lists of websites and a time block... but adding the ability to create a list of time blocks, perhaps in a calendar-type view where you set the blocks for a single representative week, and can copy-paste from one day to another (see: The Google Home / Nest temperature scheduler)
I wish there was a way to sync more data (specifically the max time per day and remaining time) across devices.
Customization options are kind of limited/useless (mostly related to the challenge question), but I was using this as a timer/reminder so that was fine. Uninstalling it because when the timer ran out on an open tab, the extension also blocked several non-blacklisted sites in a separate window, causing me to lose work. I combed through the options to ensure I had not set something incorrectly, but found nothing out of the ordinary. Additionally, websites in that window were blocked inconsistently (i.e. only 2 of the 3 tabs for a particular domain) so I can confirm that this was not user error. I'd recommend this if the Nuclear Option functionality (block everything completely) would be useful to you, but I would not recommend it for literally anything else.
