waste of time and system resources slows web to a "blazing-dial-up" speed... (sarcasm intended)
For the first few months I used stayfocusd, everything went swimmingly. I set the settings to block my time wasting sites until 6pm and weekends. Unfortunately, the developers just added a new function that pauses your time wasting sites so the user doesn't accidentally use all their minutes. This runs 24/7. Now, I can't watch a single thing on netflix or youtube without my show being paused every 5 minutes. I even uninstalled the extension but its still there. Don't download this extension if you plan on ever watching netflix or youtube again.
This is a wonderful plugin that allows you to block chrome:extention which is one way for you to ultimately cheat because all you have to do is uninstall the plugin. And you have to force yourself to uninstall Chrome and painstakingly install it all over again. My advice synchronize your Google account with Chrome, this will make sure the plugin is immediately installed on your browser the next time you install which is a great method for anti-procrastinators. Do use the NUKE option on this extension and block all the site you don't want to visit including chrome:extention. Enjoy your anti-procrastination.

advanced settings make it useless at this time
Starting on day two, it has not reset and is still blocking. Well... I guess I have to disable it to make it work on day two. Looking for a different extension now.

Like so many others on here I easily get sucked in to spending too long on time-wasters on the internet. This is a huge help.
And your productivity shoots up :)
I reset the time settings with about 20 seconds left in the timer. It made me click through about 20 funny dialog boxes and then reset the time while redirecting me to a webpage about procrastination. LOL.
