I installed this on passing impulse, and I am SO impressed. DEFINITELY KEEPING IT lol
Excellent! David, it DOES work in incognito mode. You just have to give it permissions to do so on the extensions setting page. A handy trick: Add chrome://extensions to the block list, so you can't turn StayFocusd off by disabling it after your time expires.
I LOVE IT!
The biggest downside to this is that it works exactly as you'd want it to. Set time limits and timeout periods once exceeded, and it's annoyingly difficult to change your settings (stops you from cheating). Overall, I probably owe the salvation of my degree to this extension.
C'mon 99.95 here I come. Really like the nuclear option, perfect for the weak-willed!
**EDIT** The developer quickly answered my email and showed me how to achieve this with the nuclear option. I only have to set it to blocked sites, then block any new site that becomes distracting while I'm working. And the nuclear option is so OD that it's impossible to drift on the internet. Brilliantly executed app, and well worth paying donation price plus more. **OP** Really good app. But would be alot more useful if it had the ability begin blocking for a predetermined amount of time. I do use my laptop for other things besides work, and being a student, don't have a set time when I do work.
I love this! It was hilarious when I tried to extend my browsing time for the day
