****UPDATE**** 12/13/23 Even though I did lose a lot of my tabs I was able to save a lot too from the old .json that I couldn't load into OTG. I contacted the developer and he was incredibly helpful and knew what my problem was. Sadly, we had to wipe my backup and revert to square one but it was user error. My problem was through no fault of the extension. Whatever you do though, make sure you don't keep a LOT of tabs in one session. Spread em out!! Onetab.group works beautifully now and is very intuitive and easy to use. But, I do constantly make sure that I backup to my pc regularly just for extra peace of mind. I will, however, be a lifelong user as it's very easy to use and has excellent customer service. ************************************************************************************************ I have tried and tried to use this extension and I have tried for a longgg time but I give up. I just lost THOUSANDS of tabs that I had curated and saved for all my projects, resources etc. You have to remember to update them and save the actual backup to your pc etc. You can't just set a auto backup and forget it. It's definitely not worth paying for every month only to lose all your tabs. So if you value your tabs. Pass on this one.
Using free and already loving it
I actually like this extension, but as others have noted -- it will absolutely delete your saved tab sessions for no reason what-so-ever. I can't tell if this is some kind of ploy to get people to buy the pro version, or just a bug, but either way it's obviously a problem that's being ignored. If you want to use this, just make sure to take advantage of the ability yo backup your sessions to json files so you can just reimport them when this issue arises. Two stars till this gets fixed or at least gets an explanation.
I lost 200 sessions and 3000+ bookmarks.. backup and stop using it ASAP.
