as some people have said, there are other extensions available that give you a lot more in terms of wasting your time. this is beautiful, and simple...exactly what i was looking for. i have tried a lot of the other extensions, and while they seem to be better, they are just time wasters. Thanks for this gem!

Overall pretty great once you figure out how the settings work, a few issues though. 1) Doesn't seem like you can customize the speed dial its only your recent sites visited [very much want this feature! such as pick what goes there and possible icons for known sites like facebook and youtube to be more minimalistic] 2) Background loads kind of slow 3) I just don't like some of the pictures that cycle in and wish you could select them yourself [maybe locally].

I saw some of the negative reviews and had to comment. It took a little bit of fiddling (took me a minute to figure out where the settings were), but this is exactly what I was looking for... Tells the time and weather, has favorite sites, and section to write notes (or for me a To-Do List) - all with a beautiful background and clean design. Thanks! My one critique is it doesn't sync across my devices (logged into chrome/google) - so my settings (specifically notes/to-do list) don't sync. But this is a minor complaint. Running Chrome on Windows 10 Desktop with 4k monitor and Windows 7 laptop with HD (1080p) monitor. Looks great on both.

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'content' of null(…) file: zentab.js line 302 there is: $.zentab.location.city = data.locality1.content; locality1 is null and the extension gets stuck.
