Partizion — Tab and Session Manager

Yes, everything looks polished and elegant. Beautiful. Easy on the eye. However, while I have sympathies for Partizion trying to charge for their extension, I have two issues: 1. Partizion does not allow for an "open-ended" use case (like mine) at all. If I have an existing mess of many open tabs, this extension does nothing to speed up or improve review. It is rather like a profile or workspace manager. 2. The price: At 60 USD p.a., Partizion charges a fee that is identical to a Trello Standard subscription. That is insane to me. Other Chrome extensions charge 1.99 USD or offer lifetime licenses. That would be appropriate here too.

I love the extension and have been using it for a few years, but since a few days it seems the sessions aren't saved anymore. That's the whole reason I'm using it. Edit: I was able to fix it after help from the dev

The intent of this tool is fantastic. The support is responsive and DESPERATELY needed to do anything with this extension. I gave up as it is unusable in its current implementation. Unintuitive, misuses standard UI items, and wants a monthly fee for this. No. This product looks like an early beta and is trying to charge for it. No. Extensions charging fees have to be great or a dirt cheap one time fee. This is neither. Run the other direction until he finished rewriting the complete product.

I've never paid for a chrome extension, but this was well worth it. I've used many tab managers over the years and have been so disappointed by the developers. Used to use OneTab and then cluster, but they've been abandoned/don't work anymore. Partizion has been working for more than half a decade. The synced tab sessions are a life saver. I can restore any set of tabs no matter what. Still learning to use the tab collections but that will come. Wish I found this sooner.

Absolutely RAD plug-in that let's me organize all my chrome tabs in a manner that I didn't know was possible. Helps keep me focused, prevents chrome from crashing (cause I had too many tabs open), speeds up my computer, and is a GAME-CHANGER!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Functionally, this is similar to tabExtend. But I find switching workspaces in this more straightforward: it takes fewer input actions. tabExtend has a misfeature: you can only see the workspaces if the sidebar of tabs is not pinned. So if you like a pinned sidebar, you must unpin it if you wish to see all workspaces... not so here. I also find it easier to build up collections of tabs in partizon moreso than tabExtend. I was a happy Toby user long ago, until they started trying to charge per-organization, meaning within a single account, they made multiple charges based on how many "organizations" were in that account. Similar issue drove me away from Workona. Thank goodness this is as powerful as either of those without being too opinionated (like Workona is). The font choices are tasteful and the dark mode is a pleasure to look at all day long. I also was a recent Wavebox user. That is a feature-heavy browser but when it started thrashing when I was trying to open a google sheet from google drive I dropped it... why? Because the same thing worked in native chrome in 1 second.. I'm preferring to layer Partizon over MS edge so I get native vertical tabs with a layer of nesting along with other Ms edge power features like split view and more. Aha - the big gotcha! You cannot upload your own icons for the workspaces... Wavebox let me do that!!!! let's go on it matthew ;) the ceo is quite responsive to the userbase.
