Users need a seamless way to capture and organize web content into Notion without manual copy-paste, including automatic metadata extraction and structured database property filling
User browses web content → clicks extension icon or right-clicks → extension popup opens with auto-extracted metadata → user selects target Notion database/page → fills optional properties (tags, etc.) → saves content directly to Notion with screenshots, highlights, and metadata mapped to database fields

- 目标用户
- Notion users / Knowledge workers / Content curators / Researchers / Students and professionals who use Notion for note-taking and organization
- Popup main.js is a large minified React bundle (3.5MB) - not fully analyzed for internal paywall logic
- Could not verify if the upgrade button opens a paid paywall or redirects to Notion's own pricing
- The extension's own auth service (auth.savetonotion.so) purpose not fully determined - could be for OAuth or extension account

The extension appears free with no active paid features. Evidence: serviceWorker.js line 4 shows payment functions stubbed to always return false: checkUserPaid:async()=>!1, getExtPayUser:async()=>{}, openPaymentPage:async()=>!1. While clipper.js contains upgrade button UI (lines 221, 425-429, 518-519, 547-555) and an SVG with id='star-upgrade', no subscription, stripe, billing, premium, or plan keywords were found in the main popup JS. The store description states 'Start using Save to Notion today for free!' The upgrade UI may be vestigial or for Notion's own plans, not an extension paywall.

- The extension requires users to be logged into Notion to function. Evidence: clipper.js lines 615-618 shows a 'closeAndLogin' case that displays alert 'In order to use the extension, please login to Notion' and redirects to https://www.notion.so/login. The extension uses Notion's API with authentication tokens (serviceWorker.js contains full Notion API client code). The manifest has cookies permission and host_permissions for https://*.notion.so/* to read Notion session cookies. External host auth.savetonotion.so is used for authentication. Login is required for the destination service (Notion), not for an extension-specific account.
Was working perfectly... update = unusable... sad
đang free lại bắt trả phí, extension chỉ để save mà lấy tận 4$ = 1/2 giá notion, ko đáng
Very buggy.
its a much better plugin than official plugin, thanks to auther's great work.
The app used to be a great way to collect information into a Notion database. However, after the developers removed the option to select clips for sending into Notion, it no longer helps me with this task. I hope they bring back this function as it was amazing and really set it apart from competitors.
When it works, it is amazing, and is exactly what I need. I love the ability to add all the database fields to the extension, so that I can add tags and other relevant information to every link I save to my database. Unfortunately, every time either Chrome needs to be updated, or the extension itself gets an update, the whole thing breaks. It stops saving things to Notion and gives me an error message. It only gets resolved when I completely uninstall the extension, then re-install it. Re-installing it means I have to go through the tedious step of setting up the database fields in the extension window again. Its such a pain considering how useful it is, otherwise. I'd give this 5 stars if this single issue got resolved.
I love this extension and even purchased it, but I am really disappointed with the new update in 2.63. The team has removed the functionality to select regions of a page and save them as clips in a single Notion page. This feature was extremely useful for collecting information from pages where text was spread across different tabs and toggles. The "Content" field is unable to handle HTML tabs and toggles, resulting in missing content. I even tried downgrading to the previous version of the extension, but it did not solve the issue. Please bring back the clipping functionality to the app!
It would be perfect if it didn't have so many bugs. I've lost count of how many times I've reinstalled the extension after it simply couldn't recognize my properties. Now if that wasn't enough, I can't even save it. So it's no use. Better to put it manually...
The extension works wonders for my personal workflow, and I was happy to experience surprisingly fast customer service. I'm satisfied enough to pay the premium and eager to see how it develops.
Sometimes it works really well, sometimes it doesn't - especially right now. The options on which pages/folders to send something to is limited af and when I try to create another page or folder it ends up giving me a message about checking if my internet is on; it's obviously on if I'm surfing the web.
