AI 产品解读Web clipper and content saver that saves web pages, articles, emails, tweets, YouTube videos, LinkedIn posts, and other web content directly to Notion databases and pages
Users need a seamless way to capture and organize web content into Notion without manual copy-paste, including automatic metadata extraction and structured database property filling
User browses web content → clicks extension icon or right-clicks → extension popup opens with auto-extracted metadata → user selects target Notion database/page → fills optional properties (tags, etc.) → saves content directly to Notion with screenshots, highlights, and metadata mapped to database fields

- 目标用户
- Notion users / Knowledge workers / Content curators / Researchers / Students and professionals who use Notion for note-taking and organization
- Popup main.js is a large minified React bundle (3.5MB) - not fully analyzed for internal paywall logic
- Could not verify if the upgrade button opens a paid paywall or redirects to Notion's own pricing
- The extension's own auth service (auth.savetonotion.so) purpose not fully determined - could be for OAuth or extension account

The extension appears free with no active paid features. Evidence: serviceWorker.js line 4 shows payment functions stubbed to always return false: checkUserPaid:async()=>!1, getExtPayUser:async()=>{}, openPaymentPage:async()=>!1. While clipper.js contains upgrade button UI (lines 221, 425-429, 518-519, 547-555) and an SVG with id='star-upgrade', no subscription, stripe, billing, premium, or plan keywords were found in the main popup JS. The store description states 'Start using Save to Notion today for free!' The upgrade UI may be vestigial or for Notion's own plans, not an extension paywall.

- The extension requires users to be logged into Notion to function. Evidence: clipper.js lines 615-618 shows a 'closeAndLogin' case that displays alert 'In order to use the extension, please login to Notion' and redirects to https://www.notion.so/login. The extension uses Notion's API with authentication tokens (serviceWorker.js contains full Notion API client code). The manifest has cookies permission and host_permissions for https://*.notion.so/* to read Notion session cookies. External host auth.savetonotion.so is used for authentication. Login is required for the destination service (Notion), not for an extension-specific account.
Love the extension, can't seem to add new templates though
Extremely Useful when adding items to a Database. Saves those precious seconds.
Best web clipper by far!
This extension almost perfectly satisfying my usage. If it can take a screenshot of the page and treat it as the cover/front image when there is no image to save, this would be the one of the best extension in my life.
does not copy webp pictures for page tests https://vc.ru/marketing/178678-aso-i-seo-chem-oni-otlichayutsya-i-kak-vliyayut-drug-na-druga Nice extension, but webp pictures are sad.
My absolute favourite tool to use for Notion.
Though the documentation is so inadequate I almost gave up, now that I've figured out how to use it, I'm thrilled. It's MUCH more useful than the official Notion Web Clipper. It not only saves the page content (or not – your choice), after you've saved the page to Notion, you can "highlight" passages, which are prepended to the page content as bullet points. A huge "plus" is that not only can you save the content of HTML pages, you can save PDFs the same way, and if you've chosen the "save content" option, when you go to the Notion page representing that entry, you'll find the PDF EMBEDDED (not just linked) in the body of the page! While you can't "highlight" text in the PDF, you can get the same effect: The extension allows you to add your own notes, so you can simply copy and paste any text from the PDF that you want to "highlight." The extension lets you choose which fields from each database you want to have available within the extension, including "select" and "multi-select" fields. Just fill them in or make selections before saving the page – a huge advantage over the "official" extension. I'm never left wondering "Now, why did I save this?" One of these days, I will write some decent documentation for the extension and send it to the developer, who deserves all the appreciation I can give her.
Fantastic extension! Upgrades the Notion experience tremendously! Also, the developer is highly responsive to feedback. I contacted him about a minor bug, and he fixed it immediately.
This is a great piece of software. I love the template function and the deep integration with Notion. You can tell it's designed by someone who uses it themselve.
practical, useful and amazing! Thank you very much for your time and for developing this tool! (^_^)v
