this used to be amazing. worked super fast and was accurate. But something has changed in the past 2 to 3 months. Now it adds nonsense to translations. As an example, while i was reading a manga during a fight scene this translator said the person mid fight said "Passionately, as he stares down at me eyes full of glee I remember out time on the lake, when warm summer wind rushed through our hair and the crisp scent of fresh cut grass danced in our noses. I would do anything for this man." I took that image of the manga, ran it through google translator. The guy really said " I'll never forgive you "... I could understand a work wrong here or there. but adding whole stories that have nothing to do with the text is just wild. I wish it would go back to how it was. If I was you I'd try and find a diffrent translator since this one doesn't even translate anymore it just makes up stuff 1/2 the time.

This is better than the other translator apps out there, imo. One issue I have is I tried to avail a subscription but it's always giving a failed transaction. Would be nice if there's other method to avail

EDITED MY REVIEW! Changed from 2 stars (Mar. 10, 2024) to 5 stars (Feb. 28, 2026). They have VASTLY improved this extension and now I wholeheartedly recommend it. My previous problem with this extension has been fixed. It used to translate Japanese text to include tons of exaggerated, extra fluff instead of direct translations. But this problem has been fixed, and I haven't encountered it in quite a while. Ichigo now knows what it's doing and I rely on it often to supplement translations. In fact, at the moment it's the best MTL provider that I'm currently using in terms of translation accuracy. Thank you extension creators for continuing to improve Ichigo.

Amazing. I have used other translators that usually miss some words here or there and translations end up in pretty broken english, this was fantastic. Completely translated full pages in pretty perfect english. Also the use was extremely easy and intuitive. One button to translate. Seriously like 100/10 this has unlock so much manga for me. Ty to creator.

It is by far the best manga translator out there, however, there is one big problem for me that made me unsubscribe for the time being. When I click on "save the translated image", sometimes the translated text were displaced (a little bit to the side). However, if I use "save ALL translated image", the translated text aligned perfectly. I don't know why this happened, but it happened VERY often.
