A badge of your current country is shown on the icon, which will refresh every 3s. So you can easily see, if you have a broken VPN or proxy connection when the country-code changes unexpectedly. Additionally a notification appears on your desktop when one of your IP addresses (IPv4 or IPv6) has changed - of course, it can be turned off in settings.
You can also display your position on a map by clicking the corresponding button next to the IP address.
Your user agent is shown in the entries as well.

The request to the server to obtain your geolocational information is secured at least with TLSv1. Also Perfect Forward Secrecy is enabled.

Depois de horas procurando uma extensão que mostrasse meu IP automaticamente após a mudança, encontrei essa. A única que funcionou para mim. Obrigado pelo excelente trabalho!
Was a great extension, however it no longer works for me. For some reason when I connect to a UK server with NordVPN it shows that the server is in the US. Worked well until a week or so ago. Shame, I've been using this extension for years. :( Edit: Tried this extension again because it is the only extension I can find which used to do what I needed. Aykut, still doesn't work for me. Using NordVPN it says the server is in the US when in fact I'm connected to a GB server.
Great job! Please add options for disabling text on the flag. For example, I want to see the German flag without DE.

Hay un montón que hacen lo mismo. La descargué para ver rápidamente la bandera de la IP de conexión. No funciona en Chrome, siempre dice ERR!
This seems to be a fake plugin because it only shows the " Error " :(
"ERR" is often displayed on the extension icon, please fix it, thank you! It would be even better if simplified Chinese could be added!
No longer notifies of IP Change, it just stays on the ERR.
Hi.., the new version 2.0.2 on Google Chrome and Firefox no longer works :(
ERROR (ERR) on the icon since few weeks, but when clicking ont he flag it shows the correct country and location.
