One month ago, I recorded a very high stake meeting on video. I was preparing for that recording for days. After I trimmed the video, it has been forever stuck in "waiting for Luna to start trimming". As you know, when it is in that state, you can't access the video anymore. You can't download it or revert it to the untrimmed state. Basically, it's gone. I wrote to the Loom support team twice. It has been one month, and I have never heard back from them. They ruined my work. Another day, at the end of the recording while on Zoom I was trying to move the windows around and I suppose I clicked on Loom overlay by accident. A window popped up with two prompts, one of which was "cancel". You know what normally happens in Windows when you see a pop-up with an option to cancel? It cancels the pop-up, e.g. if you accidentally clicked on closing a Word document and they gave you an option to cancel closing. You know what Loom does if you "cancel"? Yes, it cancels your video, and it is gone forever. No temporary files to restore if you clicked that button. I found it out in a very painful way. Nice when it works, no support or accountability when it doesn't. Hedge your risks, folks. Download your videos before you try to change anything, and look for a safer tool to use.

I used to like it but now I don't. Ever since they changed the recording time to 5 mins, it hasn't been the same. You used to have unlimited recording time on it. And you didn't have to pay, or "upgrade" it. That is really the main reason why I, and lots of people used Loom. But now the whole reason why I downloaded this app is now gone. I hope you people that work at Loom removed this feature. Thanks for listening.

Well, I loved this extension for a while, and my most requested feature was a timer that shows how long you've been recording. They added a timer, but also a 5 MINUTE TIME LIMIT UNLESS YOU BUY PREMIUM. They just pulled a Screencastify!

It used to be free, but it is not anymore. Now you can record only 5 minutes for free, so it is worth for nothing unless you want to pay. I believe it is far that they charge for their services, but it shouldn't be displayed in here as a free app. Plus: since the app changed completely in the past weeks, all the reviews in here are about an older version that doesn't exist anymore (and that used to be free).
