As long as the QR code is big enough in the screen, it works well! Adding an option when it doesn't find QR codes to drag a window around the part of the screen of interest would likely solve this issue.

There is ONE caveat with this to recognize QR codes within any PDF's opened inside the Chrome browser YOU MUST ZOOM INTO THE QR CODE AS FAR AS YOU CAN. There is one other similar QR reader app I'd recommend as an alternative to this chrome extension: QR Code Reader for Google Chrome™ (Source link at bottom). It may seem like a less refined extension but it works wonderfully has multiple ways to read QR codes (Saved image, webcam, webpage) and also works in PDF's opened in Chrome. It may not look nearly as refined as the extension on this page but simplicity is elegance....and I like the other one mentioned above and linked at the bottom. Here is a quick elaboration on some of it's features: -> "Image" Can parse saved QR code image files on your PC (Even if using snip tool or PRINT SCREEN, jpg, png, ect.) -> "Camera" You can use your built in or USB PC/laptop webcam and hold up a printed page with a QR code on it ect. -> "Current Tab" option will strip out any QR codes from webpages or PDF's opened in Chrome though YOU MUST ZOOM IN TO THEM for this to work on this alternative extension as well be sure you have only one QR code showing when zoomed in and it will pick it up and produce a clickable link to the URL data. **NOTE**: ***When working with PDFs to extract a single QR code the pdf needs to be zoomed in to recognize the QR code**** I hope this helps someone with the need for these specific features!
