User visits a website with an overlay popup → clicks the extension icon or presses Ctrl+Shift+X → extension injects overlay_remover.js into the active tab → script detects the highest z-index element at the center of the viewport, hides it and related overlay layers, removes CSS blur filters, and restores overflow/scroll on body/html elements.
