i REALLY don't want this on my "new tab" section anymore so can tell me how to get rid of it 'cause as others have said it's annoying and you need to do something!

Nice extension. Now waiting for the "apps"-nav button...
How to get military/24h time: go to %appdata%\..\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\ljpapphpgkmigobbbakmnfoohclifanm\1.25_0 and open clock.js in notepad. Delete line 215 to 220 and you're done
