If you already had some YouTube page open before the extension was installed, a page refresh might be needed.
Ads skip is an adblocker for youtube made for Chrome browser to block all ads that are appearing on start when watching tube videos. Also works on other websites and blocks pre-rolls where it possible.
Now just get this cool app and enjoy millions of free music and videos!
Glad to note that skip ads for youtube work both full screen or floating popup window mode as you wish.

Works, but hijacks google search results replacing urls with links to edmitad.com. Blatant malware and reported as the same to Google and the authorities.
Works like expected, I do not see the content of the ad.

I'm a developer too, I was developing a project similar to yours, in the middle of the development I said to myself: "maybe someone has already done this?" and here it is! I would have simply let the ad play with the volume muted (in your project a few seconds you can hear the spot, I suggest you implement it anyway) and then automatically pressed the skip button as soon as possible, anyway great work, thanks
