TopCashBack's site is great. The extension is not consistent. There have always had issues with its interface and tracking, but it was solved by reclicking or reopening my browser. Justjust found a huge recent bug, though: Usually when you click the TCB (TopCashBack) extension, it will show you that X% cash back has been activated and you can also click for Best Deals and Recently Visited. However, lately all I see is "Join Now". This is because the browser extension is logging out of my account every time I close and reopen my browser. Note, it is only the browser extension because if I go to the actual site, I am still logged in. So, I still see pop ups for X% cash back available, but if I click it, a) I don't see on the browser extension that states my cash back is activated b) my purchase does not track. The temporary fix is to log out of TopCashBack's main site and log back in EVERY TIME I reopen my browser. Do not trust that your purchases are tracking via the extension. Just recently made a large purchase and I clicked through TopCashBack's portal AND the extension, but because the extension logged me out of my account (just the extension, not the main site), my purchase did not track and TopCashBack is refusing my cashback. Other cash back portals offer less %, but at least they are consistent and reliable, and have great customer service to correct their mistakes. Hoping TCB fixes this bug and reconciles my situation.

Pop-ups are too intrusive. Often they get in the way of the website. It'd be nice to add a configurable-timeout so that they fade away automatically after some amount of time. Or, it'd be nice to opt-in to only receive cashback notifications for certain sites that I'm interested in or need a reminder. Would replace the current opt-out functionally (or can just choose one or the other). Nice that it reminds when there is a cashback for a site. Also nice that it can confirm whether cashback is activated or not. Thanks for fixing resource usage and removing ads from search results.

TopCashBack is the best cash back site in my opinion. The extension seems top work well. Not very intrusive, and recognizes retailer sites appropriately and accurately for activating cash back.

Only a fraction of "Clicks to Merchants" register, and an even fewer track any earnings. Even then you're looking at 8-15 WEEKS before the amount is payable. More often than not you have to submit a claim, which takes MONTHS "to investigate", and doesn't mean you will actually receive those earnings. More than likely, as others have mentioned, you will get the whole, "this has been declined by the retailer's network agency as they have been unable to identify that TopCashback were the last referral to this sale.". Overall, this is nothing more than a way for merchants to drive traffic to their websites, and majority have no intentions of paying. Stick with Rakuten, who actually does payout and doesn't make you jump through hoops for weeks or months on end!

It will always pop up to tell you to save money. Great! However, don't plan on getting paid for most of them. I have 14 'savings' before June 1st. Only 7 are past the pending stage with one still pending from March 25th, and many 'confirmed' but not 'claimed'. June has 6 'savings' with all of them still 'pending'. Not good if I'm not getting my cash back.
