PLEASE READ IN REGARDS TO AD-SKIPPING:

This extension can still skip video ads, even after YouTube's recent update (May 2025).

Since the ads aren't technically "blocked", it bypasses most of YouTube's Anti-Ad-Block measures.

But YouTube is always trying new things. If the extension runs into an ad that it cannot auto-skip, it will make the "Skip" button the size of the entire video for you, making it super easy to click.

I have tried a bunch of the speed control extensions and this is the best one I've found so far. Love how intuitive it is to use. Plus having it fast forward & skip all the ads.... just amazing

Excellent. Most people are looking for this kind of plugin for an ultra-fastforward to skip ads. For me, I also wanted to be able to give some videos a 10 - 15% speed boost - just enough to make the video more engaging but not so fast it feels weird and unnatural.
