This causes 100% CPU usage after a while and makes Chrome very laggy. You can see it in the Chrome Task Manager. Not sure if this a bug or they hide some kind of bitcoin miner in there.
I know this extension is broken atm but I've been using it for months and it was working fine before. Hope you can fix it soon!
Cette extention utilise anormalement mon GPU... je ne comprend pas comment une fonction aussi simple devrait bouffer quisiment 100% de mon GPU au point de faire planter Chrome ?! Vous ne mineriez pas de la crypto dans notre dos ???

This extension (v0.7.67.0, updated on 2024.11.06) causes Chrome to abnormally consume excessive CPU resources. When I have only few Chrome tabs, sometimes Chrome's CPU usage went abnormally high. (also with high CPU Temp / Power consumption / Fan RPM) After spending some time for investigation, I confirmed that this extension is the culprit. (Verifiable via Chrome -> three-dot menu -> More tools -> Task manager) - Symptoms: When opening a new Youtube tab and begin to play video, (not always, occasionally) Chrome's CPU usage spikes abnormally high. Even after closing the affected tab (= when I don't have any Youtube tabs), Chrome's CPU usage still remains very high. The only way to normalize CPU usage is: completely close the Chrome and restart it. I've been using this extension for several months, and I think this symptom occured recently. So I suppose maybe it's related with Youtube's recent redesigned player UI. (not sure about this) But anyway, I recommend to disable this extension for now.
