Releasing new 7tv at the same time as an update that breaks the old 7tv is a bit scummy, isn't it? Also, this has awful performance. Takes several minutes for emotes to start showing when you open a stream because it takes ages to load them.

UPDATE: After the initial annoyances of switching to the new extension, my main complaint is missing features from the old extension. Like another reviewer mentioned, there's no option to show seconds in the chat timestamps and that's a big one for me. On the other hand, there are some changes I like about this new one, notably the sound selection for highlights. The default sound has always been too harsh and alarming, but there's some much better options here now. But I don't get how you decide to make a new extension and the first task isn't to copy over every existing feature first. Why force people to lose features top use the newer software? Please add all the previous features like timestamp seconds. At least the old one is working again without issue, so I'll be using it until this thing catches up. ---------------- Original review: Like others said, seems this is being forced by making the old 7TV extension hide the chat input field... Sent me on a wild goose chase trying to figure out why that was happening all of a sudden... Not cool! In any case, I don't mind a new extension if it needed to be done, but this new extension's backup feature is not compatible with the old one. The JSON files are a different format, so importing an export from the old extension does not work... What a huge oversight 🙄 So, after sending me on a goose chase, now I have to disable the new extension so I can open the settings for the old one, then take screenshots for reference, and then switch back over to the new one and painstakingly cross-reference everything.... What a pain. There are also some features missing from the old extension that I'm noticing as I cross-reference. Meh. At least it seems to be working without unexpected issues.
