27/5/26: Randomly breaks if you spend too many hours with twitch open or having multiple windows open with twitch. The tab emote selection breaking as well despite updating and everything. Sometimes changes are not being saved despite being logged in.. not sure what is happening with 7tv lately and the decisions they are making I know that the app needed a re built from the ground but some changes do not make much sense even less how things break constantly now when before they didnt break as often.. will change my review and rating in the future if I see improvements

This new extension isn't available on GitHub, besides being unnecessary the code is now hidden, which seems suspicious to me. What exactly do we gain? New UI? I will change my review if they prove me wrong in the future.

Performance seems better than the "original" version (not sure why they've made a second one), but somehow everything else is worse? Names aren't colored, you can't click on a name that has been @'d to see their account/chat history, modded messages are much harder to distinguish, first time chat messages aren't highlighted despite the option being turned on, so on and so forth. 7tv is a necessary, albeit dogshit, extension, but this one is just a worse user experience overall.

What's going on here? Why the sudden transition to a completely new extension instead of updating the old one? Where's the source code? I can't find any reference to this transition anywhere on GitHub, which leads me to think that this one is not open source. Correct me if I am wrong and I will change my rating.

Unfortunately just plain works worse than the previous version. I can no longer autocomplete chatter names. Instead I get some "~" looking default emote.
