Instant Preview lets you open and preview any link directly in a **sidebar** (Chrome side panel). No more switching tabs—just hover, click, and see the content. Perfect for research, reading articles, or checking references.

## How to Use Instant Preview

1. **📋 Context Menu Click** – Right-click a link and click the "Instant Preview" option to open it in the sidebar (side panel).

2. **⏱️ Long Click + 👆 Hover** – Click and hold a link to open the sidebar, then hover over links to show previews in the sidebar.

3. **🖱️ Popover Click** – Click the small button that appears when hovering over a link to open the link in the sidebar.

4. **⏱️ Long Click** – Click and hold on any link to open its preview in the sidebar.

May i know if there is a way I can disable the highlight function in the preview? it is quite distracting for me to read the preview, thanks.

When it works, it works fairly well. However, it is incompatible with wikia sites, which will consistently exceed the frame. In addition, it attempts to load a preview instantly upon hovering over a link, which means that there it will both load webpages you don't want to view and will also result in a delay in clicking the actual link to opening any website fully until the preview has finished loading, which means the webpage loads twice. Both are in unacceptable data drains. If the preview panel could be resized or relocated manually, or a delay was added before the preview was loaded, I'd happily rate it higher. As is however, the drawbacks make it more trouble than it's worth to keep running full-time.

It's a great extension but it stopped working in google about 3 weeks ago, it still works in duckduckgo

Works nice in iframe mode. If this could also show the ad-results in preview, that would be nice. I don't have the paid version, but it would be nice if you could slide the search result to make the iframe screen bigger and if you could press a button to automatically go to the next search result in preview. Tabbing over an link does not work. Would recommend if you use search alot for simple question where you have to click on the search result to get the answer. for example stackoverflow. this helps me with cluttering my tab. Thank, please come back to update <3!

Instant Preview Fonctionne bien sur Xindows 7, mais que sur la page d'acceuil de Google ! Settings Preview mode iframe > ne fonctionne pas _______________________________________ Instant Preview > Options d'extention > Settings Preview mode, cocher windows (pour windows 10) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Taper docjacot dans les moteurs de recherche, sur YouTube (à améliorer) Merci
