I actually like the extension. I actually forgot I had the extension, but have, these last several months, been pleased that I get a pop-up when I visit a store that can accrue points, a great reminder. I used to forget to click on mypoints and would buy, missing opportunities to get the deserved points. That no longer happens. I do not get pop-ups for no reason and it seems to be working for me very cleanly and unobtrusively.

It only works when it feels like it, I guess. I missed out on points because when I went to a site to purchase pet food I was never notified that I qualified for MyPoints. I found out the next day - THE NEXT MORNING!!! - that not only did my purchase qualify me for points, THE POINTS WERE BEING DOUBLED!!! The good news is, MyPoints isn't the only game in town, I got cash back to my PayPal from Rakuten. Updated to add this: I've had to click on the icon SEVERAL times when I'm making a detailed purchase - for example, when I'm shopping at Walmart, I don't finish my shopping list in just a few minutes, so the checkmark vanishes and I have to click on it again...and again...and again... Really wish MyPoints actually read these reviews and acted on them, but even when I contact them for assistance I generally get a boilerplate response and even when I try to follow up a few days later I'm treated as if their failure was actually MY FAULT.

It's great-when it works! As others have said, there are times that I "activate" it but never receive credit. Other times, I try to "activate" and it doesn't so, I have to go through mypoints website. Also, there are several sites that I used to be able to earn points on, but they are no longer listed. Add this to the fact that (most of) the emails don't award 5 points for reading them takes even longer to earn points for rewards. I've only been a member for less than a year but, am seriously thinking about deleting my account altogether!

I like that the Score extension pops up to remind me of points I can get for shopping, but it pops up on every page I look at on eBay so I have to close it out if I'm just browsing.
