Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

Does not work in any useful manner whatsoever for Russian. Suggest you study the Transliterator addon for Firefox, which uses accepted international combinations to generate the characters.

Coudnt type japanese characters in chrome for unknown reason (while was able to do it in other browsers). Exactly what i needed, thank you!

Спасибо, всё работает. У кого не работает - не правильно настраиваете. Надо кликнуть пкм на иконке расширения, выбрать "Управление расширениями", попадёте в настройки, далее войти в свой аккаунт, вверху поставить все 3 галочки (Синхрониз. словарь, показывать клавиатуру, показывать строку состояния), в списке ниже слева выбрать "РУ", русская клавиатура (со значком клавиатуры) и русский (со значком карандаша)и перенести их в правый список. И так же для английского и других языков. Всё. кликаете в поле ввода, кликаете по значку плагина и выбираете допустим "русский (клавиатура)" и внизу экрана появится клавиатура. Всё работает.

have a little problem. This extension inserted an iframe in body, which causes some issue when using TinyMCE editor with File Manager. Hope this issue be fixed in future and maybe not insert the iframe until this extension get actived?
