It was great until they recently added the malware crap. If they got rid of that, it would be great again.
Used to be great. Now it inserts adverts into my pages, and who knows what else.

Used to love it, but it became malware with the latest update. Inserting commercials into my webpages is inexcusable, no matter what permissions you ask. This is an immediate uninstall for me, and I urge everyone who was brought here by glowing reviews of past versions to reconsider.
It used to literally be "awesome." Now they ruined it by introducing ads.
Crap adware now, will not be using it again. Pity as it was a good extension.
Beware: This extension is malware. Let me explain: When iGoogle shut down and I was looking for replacements, this was the clear winner. I spent time customizing it, and was very happy with it. Then, last week I noticed that the extension had been disabled by chrome. The extensions page said it had been automatically disabled because the extension had been updated and now requires more permissions. I accepted the new permissions, and re-enabled the extension. All was good. Then, I started to notice that various websites where products were featured for sale had overlays being inserted into them. I looked into what was causing this, and it is this extension. They are analyzing and modifying the html of pages that I visit, which have nothing to do with the core advertised functionality of the extension. These are classic adware/malware tactics, and users should beware what they are getting into. If that is not enough to convince you not to install this, these 'features' also slow down your browsing experience, and I consider it a violation of my privacy and trust.
To every one commenting with problems on the newly added ads here is how to disable the deals/product recommendations. Open The New Tab Page and click the white configure icon (cog wheel) in the top left corner. Set the option that reads "Enable Superfish..." to Off. Hope this helps.
What the heck did they do to this App?! Suddenly you get this window popping up and showing you "similar" items to what you are browsing for, but it causes your normal browsing to drag, stall and refuse to load. OK idea, who doesn't like knowing if you can get an item for somewhere else for less, but it needs to be more accurate in looking for similar products and not hinder your current browsing.
Until they remove the intrusive ads on thumbnails, I wont be using it.
