ANTP is light years beyond the default chrome new tab page, IMHO. Keep up the good work, Michael and other widget developers. I even made my own simple extension to display a google chart using the helpful github info.

Looks great for apps and extensions. Custom links though look very bad and are hard to costumize. There must be also a default widget for most visited sites as this function is replaced by the extension. Favicons should appeare instead of the odd star for costum links. Background colors for costum links look bad as you can not choos vivid colors (there must be a layer that dims the color). There is still a lot to develop.
