AI 产品解读Quickly copy browser tab information (URLs, titles, etc.) to the clipboard in a wide variety of formats
Users who need to export, share, or reference multiple browser tabs currently have to manually copy each URL. Tab Copy automates this by letting users copy one or many tabs to clipboard in any format (Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, plain text, etc.) with a single action.
1. User clicks the Tab Copy toolbar icon (or uses keyboard shortcut/context menu). 2. Popup appears showing scope buttons (current tab, selected tabs, window tabs, all tabs) and a format selector (link, URL, markdown, CSV, JSON, etc.). 3. User selects scope and format, clicks copy. 4. Tabs are formatted and copied to clipboard instantly. All processing is local; no server communication needed.

- Power users and researchers who manage many tabs / Developers who need to share link collections / Anyone who regularly needs to export or reference browser tab URLs in various formats
- Source code is minified/bundled (Vite build), making detailed line-by-line analysis harder but key patterns are still identifiable
- The tabcopy.com/donate page content could not be inspected to confirm it's purely voluntary (no feature gating)

All 'paid' keyword hits are false positives: 'upgrade' refers to the extension version update notification (release-notification.html title: 'Tab Copy upgraded'), 'pro' appears in React library code (react.profiler symbol), and 'license' refers to the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 open-source license headers. No payment platforms (Stripe, etc.), no premium/subscription gating, no billing APIs, and no upgrade prompts found. A voluntary donate link to tabcopy.com/donate exists but does not gate any features.

- The extension operates entirely locally using chrome.storage.local and chrome.tabs APIs. No authentication flows, login UI, sign-in prompts, or account systems were found in the source code. The core workflow (copying tabs to clipboard) works without any account. All 'token' keyword hits are template format tokens for output formatting (e.g., [title], [url], [t#]), not authentication tokens.
Good extension, very useful
After the Plugin is updated automatically, the keyboard shortcuts still cannot be used after resetting them. (I have read reviews and the documentation and followed the instructions, but it still failed.) It's really sad & bad.
I had been a very happy user of this extension for years. The most recent update made it so that copying tabs is no longer a simple single click operation. It forces you to deal with multiple clicks. I am extremely disappointed such a clean clear flow was made complicated and cumbersome.
this is a very easy and effective tool, you can easily copy url of tabs.
Very useful extension. Last update reworked some features resulting in addition of space after the link when coping "Selected Tabs" with "Copy as Link" option. Would be very handy if this behavior could be disabled and user could select what separates copied tabs.
4 stars for working well at what it aims to do 1 star removed due to their "strategic decision" to remove one/double/triple click functionality for extension shortcut.
Good extension, works very well. Very useful and unique. Highly recommend, new design also very nice.
New update ruined usability. No more one/double/triple click option. I personally loved this one/double clicks and choose this extension only for this. Now extension overloaded with lots of unnecessary never used overcomplicated options. Also new icon is worse than previos intuitive pic and can't seen in incognito mode which I used a lot. Please revert to last version or return one-double-triple click option. Simplicity is the best. Just remember about Occam's razor. thanks
Convenient way to copy a tab URL and its title in either predefined or customizable formats.
I previously loved TabCopy but removing the option for single/double/triple-click made it harder to use. I noticed a dev response that it was a strategic decision. Rather, you could have left a setting under Options for those of us committed to using it in this way. For me it was faster and, more importantly, had much lower cognitive load than this new layout. The load comes from orienting to two click targets, one of which is only revealed after the first is clicked. That's just slower than 1 click target for a high frequency action. I don't want to add new global keyboard shortcuts that I won't remember and that may interfere with some UI somewhere.
