In its relentless pursuit to extract every ounce of profit, Amazon added an AI shopping assistant you didn't ask for.
Rufus inserts itself into navigation, opens chat panels unprompted, offers unsolicited suggestions, and generally refuses to mind its own business. Rufus Remover makes it all disappear so you can shop in peace.
Enabled by default. It just works. There's a toggle if you really want to turn it off, but seriously, why would you.

Thank you! I like to highlight certain items i.e. measurements when looking at items and the "Ask Alexa" bubble has been beyond annoying and in the way! This removed it. Appreciate this addin so much.
So far so good, got rid of this stupid garbage sidebar that no one wants.
Brilliant - worked immediately. TTFN Rufus!!
just installed on edge Version 149.0.4022.80 (Official build) (64-bit). windows 11 home. immediately hides the annoying rufus sidebar on all amazon.co.uk and amazon haul pages. it hasn't re-appeared since installing. thank you. much appreciated.

Does what it says. Goodbye to the useless ai interruption "feature."
Edit: Works again. Breaks amazon pages now. Clicking an image, video or trying to add something to a wishlist will just turn the entire screen white. Worthless unless fixed, so I recommend avoiding this, as it has been 4 days with no update. Will change my review if it gets fixed.
Recently this extension started causing pages of Amazon to hang up. It goes blank and sits there. I have to click reload a couple of times to get to the next page. When I turn off this extension Amazon works fine. I tried all of the suggestions (cleared cache, etc.) but turning off this extension is the only thing that helped. I hope you fix this, because this was a very nice extension.
