Really liked this extension until recently. It no longer updates as quickly as it used to. I re-downloaded it, hoping it fixes this.
Need to check the number of emails more frequently.

it worked one day, but all of a sudden, the icon turned grey and wont update anymore..
Does what it should and makes checking email a little faster and more convenient.

It doesn't always work.
It's usually terrific. However, unfortunately the extension stopped working for me this morning also. Presumably Chrome updated the extension 'silently'?
This extension was working perfectly for me up until Sept 10 or 11, 2012. The occasional greyed out moment, but otherwise very up-to-date with the count. Since a day or two ago, the count is just set permanently to "999", when I know I have over 2000 unread emails. I see from the other recent reviews that there was some update in the last couple of days that has caused this ext to stop working for a lot of other people, but no one else has mentioned the "999" count. Please fix this! I use Chrome on Mac.
