Please go back to not showing a number when there isn't any mail. The "0" is too hard to see and it makes me think I have mail when I don't.
It used to be perfect for me. But recently the icon adds a "0" indicator on the right bottom corner when there is no unread email. It is totally unnecessary and I started having hard time figuring out if I have new mail or not if I didn't stare hard at the icon. Please go back to the original design!

This is a great extension, thank you!
ETA: The app is a bit less quick on picking up on new emails and recognizing when said emails have been read than it used to be, but they got rid of the 0, so I am happy with it again. ETA2: I spoke too soon. Mysteriously, the zero appeared again a few minutes later. This is annoying and distracting.
I've been using this extension for a while and have been pretty happy with it for the most part. But I need to echo the complaints about this new update with the zero in the badge. It's very unnecessary and I have to look closely now to see if there's mail. Aside from that, it's great.
I don't like the introduction of the "0" for zero unread mails. My eyes & brain were already trained to simply spot the square with a number and to know that then I had new mail. Now I keep thinking I have new mail all the time because it's hard to difference the tiny number. Preferably this would be revertable to the old style via options.
This was a great extension once, now it simply doesn't work.
this was great until they put a 0 in the dock badge then there are no unread messages. Now i cant tell if there is an unread message without looking closely at it - please stop fixing things that are not broken
This ext. was awesome back a few months and before then. Now, every time I click on the icon to switch to my mail, it opens a new tab of my gmail account. I already have a tab open and I just want to switch to it but this stupid extension has to complicate simple matters. Why?
